A Superb Piece Of Kit - Great To Use (And To Look At)

This is a quality piece of equipment. Yes, it's a fair bit more expensive than the 'normal' hawthorn strainers, but making cocktails is also about the 'look' and art of its creation, and this does the job! It is very functional and the double-finger loop makes it a pleasure to use at any angle, the tight spring holds back more ice chips than the regular strainers. It also has a very nice weight (unlike the very light 'standard' strainers) - it's not heavy, but has enough mass to be balanced.
One thing to remember though it to dry it as soon as it's been washed if you want to avoid watermarks on the stainless steel. It's not a 'functional' requirement, but if you leave your strainer out on show it does look nicer when uniformly shiny.
