I got this as I get many gifts friends and family gently hinting I should be cooking or mixing drinks.I had a cheap plastic cocktail shaker and my other halfs oldest at the time 20 home for the holidays last year. showed him how to pro style whip up a couple of shaken cocktails. On my return my once clear shaker was completely opaque from many many shakings. I was not overly bothered and to my surprise the kid always true to his word replaced it with this very set I recognise the shipping label. I was pleased as punch to have a new one but my preference would be the mixing travel bag I see on the same page. Since I am often invited to places because I prefer to be designated driver or happy to bar tend. So if you were replacing upgrading or just starting out. Then this is a handy set up and great for the entry level or the more seasoned.

Very Good, Quick Service, All Products As Described

I bought it for my husband for his birthday, as he always wanted to have a professional set. It is a good one for a start and definitely for home use.
The only suggestion would be to offer it in a presentable box or have it as an option.

Excellent Boston Shaker Set

What a good set of utensils and at a very reasonable price. The Stainless Steel part of the shaker is of good quality, sturdy and nicely finished, the glass is of heavy duty and definitely fulfils the description. Like many things It does take practice in use, I found putting the glass at an angle to the SS bottom part helps. I also purchased a spare Glass because if you are going to break anything it will be the glass rather than the SS shaker part and you don't want to be stuck unable to "shake" with only half a shaker in your hand. The strainer in the set is well designed/made and easy to hold in use. The muddler is certainly useful when needed and again of good quality, smoothly finished and easy to clean and the SS tongs again well made and well finished, no sharp edges. The spiral spoon is a useful tool, good long handle with a flat opposite end so this is more than just a long spoon. The included jigger of 25ml and 50ml is obviously needed to ensure balanced measures and again is well made and finished to a good standard. Overall a well made set of useful utensils put together at a very good price. Packed well enough for transit which is just as well as the box was damaged in transit on one side, but the contents were all there, in excellent undamaged condition including the Two GLASS Tumblers - Well done drinkstuff!!

The essentials for a great price. The tin seals on the glass well, although I had trouble separating them. I am a noob though.
