"Considering how reasonably priced this item was to be honest I wasn't expecting the quality that I received! The Ice Bucket
was able to take the full complement of ice from our American style freezer with plenty of space to spare. The bar spoon
was also surprisingly robust and with a little bit of practice we were able, after two attempts, to make a reasonably good looking pousse cafe style shot (instructions would have been nice though! Google is your friend here!). The little Red knob on the end was useful in making sure that the end of the spoon wasn't sinking below the top layer either. The muddler was missing one of the small rubber bands around its top but this didn't detract from its over all quality. It mashed up the mint for our mojitos with ease (though the plant had died and the leaves we got from it were scarce! Thanks to the North Irish weather for that).
The best inclusion though was the Cocktail Master Device
itself. This made perfect large glass layered drinks. They sat beautifully and looked really professional. An understanding though of alcohol density is necessary to achieve the desired effect though a list with this info is easily obtained again via Google. A nice item to combine with this item though would be Brigette Littels book Lignes and Coleurs which is for sale on the cocktail master website and is in English (check out a sample on Google books). Sadly not as an ebook though so my concoctions though nice looking were hit n miss with one blue curacao/ gin/ triple sec effort looking lovely tasted vile! So the book is on my to do list! Great set for the price!!!!"
