Tequila is a fantastic spirit made from the Agave plant, native to Mexico. And the basic types of Tequila you could use in your Cocktails are White Unaged Tequila, Reposado Tequila which has been rested for a few months. Or Anejo Tequila which is Aged Tequila. That's really at the surface level, you can go down all kinds of rabbit holes about the Agave Plant Terroir and the Type of Agave used, and the percentage of Agave used in the Tequila.
But for these Cocktails, we recommend you keep it basic and maybe just stick to your favourite Reposado Tequila.
