Almost Perfect
"In common with many pressed steel items the edges are not completely smooth which really they should be and this could be easily achieved in manufacture by tumbling. Otherwise it is fit for purpose.

Grest Strainer at a Great Price!
"This is my first strainer so I can't really compare it. However, it's a great quality product! I can't see any difference between this and others costing 2 or 3 times as much. Definitely recommend this strainer."

Excellent
"The Hawthorne strainer is a crucial tool for when using a
Boston shaker. This one has a spring which is tight enough to keep pretty much all the ice shards out of the drink which is great. It's easy to clean if you have strained fruit as the spring comes off. Great! Buy one!"

Takes The Strain Off Pouring
"An essential piece of kit, if looked after and cleaned will last forever. does what it is intended to do, and very little can compete with it. Although pips, and fruit flesh can become stuck from time to time, never too much of a nuisance if you are cleaning it properly anyway. Small pips and seeds will get through however, but that is what more fine strainers and mesh are for am I correct? There are more 'fancier' products, but they are simply for show, and seem to be a bit of waste of money. How can you improve perfection?"
